Our Natural Horse Slow Feed Haynets have changed the way our horses relate to food, all for the better. We have used them daily for more than 10 years so far with our herd of rescue horses to excellent results. 
 
They prevent the over-production of stomach acid in horses, which can lead to digestive issues including ulcers, as they allow the horse to trickle feed for several hours, which keeps the digestive system nicely ticking over, whilst saving money as they cut down on waste and prevent hay from being blown away, stepped on, and wasted on the floor....plus they allow our horses to eat as nature intended, which is little and often.
 
Each net can take between a slice up to half a bale at a time and you can put as little or as much as you like in them to suit minis through to draft horses to suit all sizes. 
 
They come with a contrasting soft rope easy-close drawstring that helps you to see the opening for easier filling, and a heavy-duty carabiner snap so you can clip your net to a fence or fasten around a tree etc...or if used on the floor we recommend to clip them within an old car tyre for safety. 
 
Our nets are purposely designed for horse use & are able to stand up to the punishment of horses pulling at them for several hours at a time. They are made from extra-tough continuous netting, with extra thick 48ply strands (which is 48 separate strands bound together for strength) with 4 x 4cm holes, which work well for slowing hay consumption down.
 
The small holes mimic trickle feeding when grazing, which is excellent for good digestion & ideal for all horses, including those good-doers.
 
We normally send random colours of green, black red, or blue. If you would like a particular colour please send us a message with your preference and we will try our best to send that colour to you
 
Please Note that our Haynets come with a free carabiner, which should only be used for clipping to the drawstring and not to the haynet material, as this can damage the netting. Thank you.
