Our Slippery Elm formula is an all-natural herbal remedy that is made from the inner bark of the Ulmus Ruba tree, which is an Elm tree found in North America. 
 
The bark produces a slippery natural mucilage that can help to assist in healing many bowel and stomach issues, including ulcers, colitis and improved intestinal health. It can also help with scours.
 
We have used this extensively with many of our rescue horses with ulcers and digestive issues to very pleasing results.
 
It is easy to administer -Mix into your horse's food using the included syringe or put into horses mouth. Please do not use it at the same time as taking other medicines. 
 
Dose rates are 5-10ml per horse per day. 
 
It is alcohol-free, as with all of our Natural Horse NZ organic herbal remedies.
